Happy New Year!

December was a rough month for productivity. I really have to apologize. Scheduling issues, holidays, changing stream days, and on top of it all, two deaths in the family.

This year, I'm going to try harder to get videos edited for YouTube. I'll probably start over-editing them, but make the originals available through Patreon for anyone who wants to see the whole stream. For Christmas, I made a supercut of our first Gloomhaven episode: 4.5 minutes down from 4 hours. I may do that for each episode to make them watchable. Next month, the backlog is going to be a year behind. And the month after that, we're going to have a baby. So who knows what's going to be possible then?

Among my plans, I also want to actually do some original game videos. I recently realized I have access to an Adobe program called Character Animator. It would cut a significant amount of work out of my original process for the animated videos (primarily lip sync parts). I also want to go back to the Statecraft episode of Board Game Day. I love that game, but without graphics showing you what each player is doing, it's just confusing and unclear. It'll take work adding in the right cards at the right times, and I don't know if anyone will actually care, but it's the level of effort I want to put in.

So here's hoping for a better 2020 than 2019 was.
